Newly elected local Conservative MP, Chris Kelly recently visited the Savoy Centre in Netherton to see for himself the work undertaken at the Centre.
The centre manager, Chris Woods showed him round the complex and introduced him to staff members and other users of the facilities.
Mr Kelly was highly impressed by the facilities and the commitment to community development and pledged to support where possible the regeneration agenda for the area. Discussions also included the potential difficult times ahead given the current economic climate.
The visit was one of series by the new MP to look at local businesses and organisations engaged on community focused work in his constituency.
