Friends of Netherton Park
The Friends of Netherton Park is a voluntary group set up by local residents in an attempt to get the facilities provided within the park to be both maintained and upgraded in order to offer the local community the opportunity to enjoy the park for a range of recreational and sporting pursuits. www.nethertonpark.com
Area Community Renewal Team
The aim of this organisation is two-fold:
That by 2010 no one should be seriously disadvantaged by where they live.
That people in communities should lead the change needed in their neighbourhoods and be fully engaged in the decision making about what needs to be done.
This organisation works on behalf of Dudley Community Partnership (the local strategic partnership) and is all about working with communities and service providers to build a shared responsibility with local people. The aim is to improve services and support residents to take a
hands-on approach to making the sort of changes they decide their community needs. It is people in communities leading change.
Netherton Arts Centre
Netherton Arts Centre (NAC) is ‘The Arts Education Centre in Dudley’: a culmination of the educational & training expertise of Dudley Performing Arts alongside the varied local and regional amateur and professional organisations who bring their talents to NAC for us all to enjoy. NAC and its local amenities make it the perfect meeting point and multi-use centre for the community and surrounding area.
Forthwright Training
Forthwright Training is a locally based (Stourbridge) training provider specialising in the delivery of a wide range of accredited health and safety training.
